Tessarose Production’s music is
created with children’s
developmental needs and the latest findings in childhood education in mind:-
International research proves moving to music enhances rhythm, language development, co-ordination, motor skills and the ability to learn. And specific movements – like spinning – help boost the vestibular system, which in turn promotes children’s balance, posture, spatial perception, confidence, visual skills and ability to focus attention.
Tessarose, based in New Zealand, comprises
Tessa Grigg and Brian Ringrose. They began creating children’s music
over a decade ago and have now recorded over 600 songs – most of them
original compositions.
Tessa was a primary teacher who specialised in Early Years, ran her own preschool and tutored early years staff training.
Brian played in a chart topping rock band in the 60s and has been a professional musician for 40 years. He is also a composer, songwriter and record producer - all Tessarose music is recorded in his studios in Christchurch.
